Do phrasal verbs bore or confuse you? 



Don't worry, try some of these exercises to help you improve on your phrasal verbs which are useful for your essay writing. 
 
There are quite a few phrasal verbs that are associated with holidays and particularly with the New Year. The following is a simple story about how a kid celebrating his New Year's Eve. Take note of the Phrasal Verb used in this story.






Every New Year’s Eve, my brothers, sisters and I are allowed to stay up past midnight. We’ll count down the final seconds of the old year a few moments before the clock minute and hour hands will meet at the digit 12. We’ll ring in the New Year with fireworks. Time marches on. I look forward to welcoming 2014.We’re going to see the New Year out with our family and close friends just before midnight.

Practice makes Perfect

I guess I know your favourite movie. Let me guess... it should be one of Jackie Chan's movie. The following is a link for you to  enjoy a short clip from the movie 'Karate Kid.'
